Welcome to The Doog Walker Journal. Every walk tells a story. From foggy mornings along the Marin waterfront to structured group adventures through Sausalito, this journal follows the dogs, training moments, friendships, and everyday experiences that make our pack unique. Here you’ll find behind-the-scenes stories, local trails, dog training insights, and a closer look at life with The Doog Walker.
Why We Started The Doog Walker
The Doog Walker began with a simple belief: dogs deserve more than a quick walk around the block. We built our structured group walking program to combine exercise, socialization, routine, and leadership in a safe and consistent environment. Over time, we discovered that dogs learn from one another. Confident dogs help nervous dogs, energetic dogs learn patience, and every member of the pack benefits from the shared experience. What started as a daily walk became a community built around happier, healthier dogs
What Makes Our Walks Different
Unlike traditional dog walking services, every outing at The Doog Walker is built around structure and consistency. Dogs are picked up from home, transported safely, and join a carefully selected group of compatible pack members. During each walk, dogs practice leash manners, social skills, impulse control, and calm behavior while exploring Marin County’s trails, neighborhoods, and waterfront paths. The result is a dog that returns home exercised, fulfilled, and mentally engaged.
Join the Pack
Every dog starts somewhere. Whether your dog is looking for exercise, confidence, socialization, or simply a more enriching daily routine, our introductory walk is the first step. We keep our groups intentionally small, carefully matched, and focused on creating positive experiences for every dog in the pack. Contact The Doog Walker to schedule an introductory walk and discover why so many Marin County dogs look forward to their adventures with us.
